Trail Riding Summer 2008 - France
I have just been horse riding for a week in the Rhône-Alpes region in France and it was just wonderful. We went on a trail riding tour through the Drôme (26), the Isère (38) and Hautes-Alpes (05) departments and it was just beautiful. The mountains are still quite wild and we saw more cows than human beings...

Q#1 : Why should I watch the "Little Mosque on the Prairie" TV show?
A#1: Because this show is smart, light yet intelligent, witty and universal. It's about the daily life of a Muslim community in a small Canadian town and the resulting culture shock...
You should at least watch the first episode to get your own opinion! And you don't need to know anything about Canada or Islam, it's not a documentary, it's still a TV show that wants to spread a universal message. The actors are all wonderful, and all communities get their share of critics...

"No Sushi" Japanese restaurant - Vancouver
If you ever go to Vancouver, which I whish you to, you have to go to this Japanese restaurant. It's the first Japanese restaurant I have been to where it's impossible to get Sushi! Don't ask, they won't make any. There is a big "No Sushi" sign on the door, which doesn't prevent 3/4 of the customers from asking "Do you have any sushi?"
Japanese food is not all about sushi (far from it actually!) there's so much more to it that you have to discover it.
No Sushi @ Gyoza King
1508 Robson Street
Vancouver, BC

Tel : 604-669-8278
(sorry, the website is in Japanese, but there are some pictures and directions on how to get there)

For History of Fashion lovers
For anyone interested in History of Fashion, from pre-historic dresses to current styles, I can only recommend this website "The Costumer's Manifesto".
It's one of the most complete fashion website I have ever visited. You can find pictures, links, patterns, book ressources, etc.

Mobile #3
This is the third mobile that I have created. I'm using 75mmx75mm Japanese origami paper. The brand is Daiyo Shiko, it's just some basic coloured paper that I bought in Japan.
I'm using 0.32mm Berkley XL Extra Smooth fishing line, it works great! It's translucid, light, thin yet strong, perfect for mobiles.
